Opening reception / kiosk: The reception is manned in the evening during the period May 1st – June 14th and from August 15th. In the period June 15th – August 15th, the reception’s opening hours are 0900 – 2100.
Payment: Payment / credit cards accepted: VISA, MasterCard, Maestro, BankAxept. No currency exchange. No cash withdrawals.
Power: Flakk Camping has 40 power outlets for caravans / motorhomes, where two and two units share a 10A fuse. In addition, we have 12 outlets with 16-amp fuse. In total, we have 60 tourist places with power option. (We may not always have free space with electricity for guests who arrive late in the day / night in high season, from June 20th to August 15th)
WiFi: WiFi is available (free), and the coverage is best near the reception. (Please note that the offer is not suitable for streaming movies and TV)
Kitchen and Sanitary facilities: We have a simple kitchen under roof, with hotplates for our guests, free showers, family / handicap space, possibility of emptying camping toilets, and washer / dryer (for a fee).
Children: The campground has a modest children’s playground and table / benches on the site.
Dogs: As long as dogs are on a leash and walked outside the campground area, we welcome dogs at the campsite.
Cleaning: We hire the services of a cleaning company who daily sanitise the sanitary buildings. The campsite staff also checks the facilities and cleans / tidies when needed.
Bus connection to Trondheim: Bus connection to Trondheim: AtB line 75 in addition to buses between Trondheim – Fosen, which stops at Flakkråa busstop. Walking distance to bus stop: 650 meters.
Short Excursions around Trondheim / Toll roads
There are no toll roads on the stretch Flakk – Trondheim city centre. If you drive northbound towards Trondheim on E39 or E6, you will pass several automatic toll plazas. Even if you do not have an AutoPass tag, you must drive straight through without stopping. All cars without the tag will be photographed and registered, and your vehicle’s number plate will be checked against the register of motor vehicles. The car owner will receive an invoice (without extra charge). This also applies to foreign vehicles.
